Kilimanjaro Bound will take you on a fantastic African Adventure of Serengeti Safari 7 Days and visit Tarangire National Park, Lake Manyara National Park, Serengeti National Park and The Ngorongoro Crater Conservation Area to make this a truly unforgettable experience.
This Tanzanian Safari Experience is 7 days long and the amazing things that you witness will stay with you forever, our Serengeti Safari 7 Days is a great way to experience the wild beauty of Tanzania.
Tarangire National Park has some of the highest population density of elephants as compared to anywhere in Tanzania and its sparse vegetation, strewn with baobab and acacia trees, makes it a beautiful and distinctive location to visit.
Located just a few hours drive from the town of Arusha, Tarangire is a popular stop for people travelling through the northern safari circuit on their way to Ngorongoro and the Serengeti. The park extends into two game controlled areas and the wildlife is allowed to move freely throughout.
Located beneath the cliffs of the Manyara Escarpment, on the edge of the Rift Valley, Lake Manyara National Park offers varied ecosystems, incredible bird life, and breathtaking views.
Located on the way to Ngorongoro Crater and the Serengeti, Lake Manyara National Park is worth a stop in its own right. Its ground water forests, bush plains, baobab strewn cliffs, and algae-streaked hot springs offer incredible ecological variety in a small area, rich in wildlife and incredible numbers of birds.
The Serengeti National Park is undoubtedly the best-known wildlife sanctuary in the world, unequalled for its natural beauty and scientific value, it has the greatest concentration of plains game in Africa.
The Park can be divided into 3 sections:
The popular southern /central part (Seronera Valley), is what the Maasai called the “serengit”, the land of endless plains. It’s classic savannah, dotted with acacias and filled with wildlife.
The western corridor is marked by the Grumeti River, and has more forests and dense bush.
The north, Lobo area, meets up with Kenya’s Masai Mara Reserve, is the least visited section.
The Ngorongoro Conservation Area spans vast expanses of highland plains, savanna, savanna woodlands and forests.
Established in 1959 as a multiple land use area, with wildlife coexisting with semi-nomadic Maasai pastoralists practicing traditional livestock grazing, it includes the spectacular Ngorongoro Crater, the world’s largest caldera.

The rest of the day is free to relax, recover from your flight and prepare to start your Serengeti Safari 7 Days early the next morning.
Your Kilimanjaro Bound guide will drive you Tarangire National Park for a fantastic day of game viewing.
Tarangire National Park is a smaller park but offers some excellent sights and experiences.
During the dry seasons Tarangire comes alive as wildlife and bird life congregate on the Tarangire River, that is a permanent source of water.
We spend the night in our lodge beautifully set inside Tarangire National Park which gives you stunning views and a unique atmosphere.
Today we drive to Lake Manyara National Park for a full day of driving and viewing the incredible wild life. Lake Manyara offers a rewarding and diverse safari experience. The lake shore at Manyara teems with bird life and while you are looking for the birds, you might spot one of the rare tree-climbing lions.
There are a surprising number of other large mammals and the striking cliffs on the Rift escarpment form a dramatic backdrop.
We will then move to our comfortable accommodation and enjoy dinner and a relaxing overnight stay.
After breakfast we ill head towards the Serengeti National Park. On route there is an opportunity to visit Olduvai Gorge. It is within this steep sided ravine that Louis and Mary Leakey made some of the world’s most important archaeological discoveries in the 1950s.
Here in a small museum we are able to see evidence of our ancestors that have been dated back 2.5 million years.
After lunch we will continue our trip into the Serengeti itself and the rest of the afternoon is spent game viewing in the vast plains that are broken only by stands of acacia trees and the occasional Kopje.
In December, January and February we will normally be witness to incredible migration of huge herds of wildebeest, zebra and gazelle.
There are always plenty of resident animals, such as giraffe, buffalo, and elephant and many large predators such as lion, cheetah, and leopard.
This night we will stay within Serengeti National Park and enjoy dinner and get ready for a full day viewing the wild animals of the Serengeti.
This is an incredible day as we have the opportunity to spend the entire time in this wonderful national park, rising early to make the most of our time.
Your guides will choose the best spotting locations for the time of year and we can spend time at the Hippo Pool watching these majestic animals laze about in the cool water happily living alongside the crocodiles.
The chances are yu will also see lions and other predators. If it is migration season you may end up surrounded by wildebeest and zebras.
We journey from the wide open plains to the Kopjes, these volcanic rocky outcrops provide protection and shelter for a wide variety of animals and from the top we can look out across the vast grasslands of the Serengeti. This diverse and interesting landscape will provide us with the ultimate in game viewing. With some luck and good spotting we will hopefully see all of the plain animals, including elephants, giraffe, zebra, wildebeest, lions and if you are lucky, the elusive leopard and cheetah.
Not only the mammals of the Serengeti but you will witness huge amounts of interesting bird life, from the elegant secretary birds to the flightless ostrich.
Another night will be spent within Serengeti National Park where you can relax and talk about the fantastic things you have seen that day.
We start the day with an early morning game drive through the Serengeti before heading to Ngorongoro Crater Conservation Area. Ngorongoro Crater is a special place in that it is a Conservation Area, not a National Park, this means that the whole area is managed for both the animals and the local Masai people who graze their cattle alongside the indigenous wildlife.
During the drive in Ngorongoro Crater we have a chance to glimpse something of the Masai way of life and after stopping at the entrance gate, there is a chance to learn more about this fascinating volcanic landscape and the people who live there.
We will then drive around the rim of the Crater itself and from here we can look down and see the herds of wildebeest and buffalo.
Finally, we descend into the crater itself where the crater walls provide a natural sanctuary for the animals. This means there is plenty to see including lions, elephants, buffalo, rhino and leopard (if you are lucky).
The only animal you won’t see in Ngorongor Crater is the giraffe, whose long legs are unable to cope with the steeps sides of the crater.
We will spend the night in one of the campsite within the Conservation Area.
After breakfast we will travel to Arusha or Moshi where you will have the rest of the morning to relax after your great Serengeti Safari 7 Days and explore the town, especially the Masai market.
