Tanzanian Businesses and Holiday Providers do not hold Public Liability Insurance, if something happens whilst you are on holiday in Tanzania it is your own travel  insurance that will cover any costs involved.  Please make sure you have sufficient insurance cover before travelling to Tanzania or Africa.

We do not wish anything to come between our clients and their Mount Kilimanjaro Hiking Adventure and client safety is always Kilimanjaro Bound’s first priority.

Although our company is covered by insurance, this is business orientated so we strongly advise our clients to acquire the proper travel insurance they will need for their trip to Africa.

A comprehensive travel insurance policy is vitally important when anyone travels abroad,  it covers travel risks such as unexpected medical costs, hospital cover and /or medical evacuation, as well as lots of other essential cover for situations that may happen unexpectedly.

Travel insurance plays a major role in Helicopter Evacuation, you will need to have a package that covers up to 6000 meters above sea level.

It is important to note that the cost of a medical emergency abroad could be quite expensive. However, this is not something that you should avoid paying and is the most important and essential travel expense that should be factored into your costing for your trip of a lifetime.
